Pipeline and Digging Safety

Before you dig...

Hawaii One Call Center
Phone: 1 (866) 423-7287
The call center operates 24/7 and will alert Hawaii Electric Light so we can properly mark or indicate the underground pipeline path, provide information about the route or give clearance to dig.

811, "Call Before You Dig"
The national 811 number is available from anywhere around the country, and one phone call connects you to your local One Call Center. You will be asked for the location of your digging job and your call will be routed to affected utility companies who will then send out a professional to mark the lines. Calling 811 before every digging job gets your underground utility lines marked for free and helps prevent undesired consequences.
