Land Request for Information
Land information is available for the islands of Oahu, Maui, Molokai, Lanai, and Hawaii, and also contains information on the proximity of the land to nearby existing grid infrastructure. For select locations, preliminary available capacity information is also available to provide additional insight into the feasibility of sites for interconnection.
In order to request the available land information, the Hawaiian Electric Companies ask that interested developers fill out, sign, and return the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) that includes a bidder certification attestation. Interested developers must also provide a company profile that demonstrates their experience in the development and operation of at least one utility scale renewable energy generation project within the last five years.
Developers who would like to further pursue developing a proposal for a renewable energy project sited on a particular land parcel should then contact the landowner or its designated representative directly to initiate discussions to secure the land rights for the property.
Please send completed NDAs along with a company profile or any questions to firstname.lastname@example.org
